OUR WINEMAKER

Seferino Cotzojay

Seferino Cotzojay, a Guatemalan native, started his winemaking career on the eastern end of Long Island, NY, one of the country’s top growing regions. Working with several different winemakers, Seferino quickly learned the complex nuances of the winemaking process.  His passion and dedication to his craft soon made him the Assistant Winemaker at Bedell Cellars, an award winning winery whose wines have been served in The White House. With his more than 10 years of experience in the winemaking industry, we are pleased to announce that Mr. Cotzojay is bringing his unique combination of old and new world style wine making to White Horse Winery.

Seferino has been featured in several publications including the Wall Street Journal.  Click on the button below to learn more about "Our Wine Guy"

Edward Sparks

Edward Sparks, a Bordeaux native, grew up in a family wine business. He took his passion to the books and began his path studying biochemistry, winemaking, and wine management. He wanted to expand his expertise and came to the states where he landed an internship in Napa Valley, California. To round out his winemaking experience he made his way to the East coast to discover a wine region he hadn't experienced yet. After seeing the potential and vision of White Horse Winery, he decided to make it his home. His viticulturist expertise allows us to maintain healthy plant and fruit quality. Seferino and Edward bring their expertise together to create the finest wine.
